2003 GOL-IN Annual Meeting - Ottawa, Canada
By John G?ze
GOL-IN is holding its annual meeting June 4-6, 2003, in Ottawa, Canada. Network members from around the world are coming to Ottawa to share information and best practices on e-government. The meeting presents a unique forum for members to discuss issues of common concern and to establish collaborative networks for further cooperation.
The Government of Canada is proud to be hosting the three-day event on behalf of Sam Young Suh from Korea, the Chair of GOL-IN.
We have a very dynamic programme in place - here are some highlights:
Day 1 - a study tour of the Canadian GOL approach
Day 2 - updates on the following ongoing projects:
-Mexico: e-Workplace
-Denmark: Open Source
-Korea: Strategic Management, m-Government
-USA: E-Government Measurement
-Canada: Privacy
-Sweden: Web Services
Day 3 - country reports, providing an informal account of each country's e-government experiences, by each delegate.
After the meeting, we shall post the key documents.
